Castle

The castle ended to be a prison for the royals that was supposed to be a home,

It ended to become a haven of lost whispers,

But, it is renowned as the joyous uproar of courtiers, festive and glamorous,

Behind the glamours there was wailing,

A wall of tears, echos of laments,

Imprints of ruins- ruins of great humours ever born!

There is a 'Castle' in all of us- Somber,

Bitter in memories and weaker in ties,

Shiny outwards but hollow inside,

A feigned freedom exercised,

Reigning champions dead and faded while still alive!

Mummied and crusified!
