Melting point

We fell in love when our eyes met,

Back then our eyes spoke language of passion,

And, we fell out of love when we couldn’t meet each other's eyes anymore,

Wish you could have understood my soul's language before ever looking into my eyes,

When I looked into your eyes,

I melted- it was my melting point,

So beautiful, so divine!

Your eyes were innocent at the same time shrewd,

And, I wish those eyes could see what my eyes have seen,

If they ever could look what I see and I can see,

And, comprehend my soul beyond the skylines where our thoughts could merge,

But, it didn’t,

The morse code of my silence was never broken nor did any signs retrieved of my disappearance!

Slowly and gradually I vanished,

In before your eyes,

Just as magically I once appeared.

Appeared like an island only to be disappeared,

Disappeared in air- in the weight of your heavy dismissal,

For you could never understand me and my stances.

Love is all about understanding each other's soul language,

In the land of souls- we were both foreign to each other.
