AI Psychosis

 


You ask chat-gpt for everything, 

What to buy, what not buy, 

What to say and what not to say-

My scarlet lover, 

An AI becomes a doorway of heaven to you, 

It makes you happy,

Answers your all questions,

You stop befriending real people, 

Instead, those unseen cyborgs becomes your daily confidants,

You tell them your worries, woes and discontents, 

You build a content entirely on AI, 

You give it the advantage,

You hand over your life, 

Daily life.... 

Go with the flow as it eases your life, 

Yes, sometimes It's marvelous, 

Sometimes it does wonders, 

But, do not forget your humanly side. 

The human ethics, the urges and the human mind, 

Do not sacrifice these while befriending and working with AI, 

Be a commander of it, not a follower, 

Be a leader that leads AI, not the one who is leaded by it.

Overcome the psychosis AI creates in you, 

Do not fall in the traps of these addictions,

Though I know It's addictive trying to know all at once. 

Don’t be so fast paced slow down, 

Otherwise, what will remain if you solve everything at once and for all!?

Note: That's what I teach in the course Ethics and Moral Philosophy- not to fall in the trap of AI and always using ones ethics upholding their moral values while using it, discussing and dissecting it with the lens of post-modern thinkers(Harraway, Hall,  Castells, Baudrillard combining the psychoanalysts Freud, Jung and Lacan to prevent the psychosis). Though the poem loosely reflects those ideas, written rhythmically.

Yes, your DNA is selfish- Selfish in preserving its traits-the trends traced back to your origin,  It chooses carefully,  The source and you are looted not only via bio-weapons but by your very own mind-set which is altered by the blending of projected socio-cultural trends- now globalized, Alienation from self and your roots, You are sabotaging your own originality, Deviating from your path, But, your ancestors are calling you- Your collective memory recalls- Who you were and who you oathed to be- We are alienated from the the culture that once aspired us- Gave us our identity-our roots,  That's why we are facing the downfall, No ethical leadership, no divine masculine remained to lead us- To guide us- To show us path- To free us!  This breath is century old- the chilling breeze in the bridge, All the bright stars are covered in silver clouds, I have come across a long way- a long way before any of the bridges were built, Everything was meant to melt away like the snow in my hands near the fireplace, I have run in the woods before, I sang the love song earlier before the morning birds chirped, Will my eyes be tired of seeing the endless beauty that these mornings offer?
