The Girl Who had Her Own Voice

The girl who had her own voice-

The world turned upside down for her,

Tried to choke her throat,

Silence her,

Pause her,

Interrupt her words,

The girl who had original ideas,

The world tried to steal,

And, ignore her existence.

The girl that had her own charm and knew no manipulative tactics,

Nobody uplifted her but she never stopped,

She had her own ways.

She had a silent strength that could melt thousand rocks in heydays.

She was fumbled yet remained so humble,

She knew how to make starry nights shine in the milky-way!

The girl who had her own voice was never liked by the crowd,

Yet a crowd  follows her,

The girl who had her own turmoil,

Who knew no pretense was shunned down.

Because they knew her magic,

They knew what she was capable of,

The universe stood beside her,

Not a people pleaser, not a go getter,

But, God's favourite lamb she was!

She doesn't compete, she performs,

She doesn’t rely, she acts on her own,

And, rewrites history that she will be a part of,

If you are with her then you are too a part,

And, if you are against her then the world remembers.
