Teen Lovers in the Rain

NZ, we didn’t ever get the chance to dance in rain, right?!

Whereas, we always used to say what we would do when sky poured heavy rain,

When the silver lining of the clouds would scream to us,

When the prisms of rainbow would scatter.

Then, you would hold my hands,

Take me to the pavilion,

Hold me from the back and watch rainfall.

Rain drops dripping all over our body from head to toe,

Rain drops touching our eyelashes, lips, cheeks,

And, us?!

You know what we would do!

But, now rainfall occurs in monsoon,

Aprils aren’t the same anymore.

Hey, do you enjoy the rainfall same as I do?!

When thunder flickers and raindrops touch your feet,

And, the sudden breeze takes over control,

Do you think of me?!

I was the storm in your daily routine.

I was the sudden disruption always retreating, never forthcoming.

Hey, my toes are tingling.

Once they were used to tickling.

Hey, my lips keep pronouncing your name.

They are tired.

They were thirsty.

So, heavens placed rainfall to drench me.

The clouds cry as I do,

The sky screams in agony of ruptures like me,

I am fractured as the skyline,

Broken into pieces,

Take me back to the peaceful days!

Peach pale skin,

Auburn red lips,

Black eyebrows jointed,

Thick eyelashes,

Spects on your face,

A smile that you would wear,

All these drives me crazy,

The doves resting on my chest tend to fly in speed.

Skyblue shall be your attire.

Because, you are an albatross flying high.

Skyblue shall be your color,

Because, rainfall remembers you.

Clouds shall sing a merry song for you,

Because you belong to the altitude.

Raindrops mesmerizes your view,

Because every leafs on the chestnut tree wants to fall upon you.

Every creature on the earth wants to feel your warmth, hug you.

NZ, you are a kind soul,

Every route wants to take me to you!

Whoever has ever wanted you in folly, knows how hard it is to forget you!

Whoever has ever wanted to erase you, knows how suffocating it is to replace you!

Whoever has ever loved you knows how heavy the heart feels without you!
