Exploration and Exploitation


    You say you don't want to explore anymore, 

You don't want to exploit. 

But, would you say the same words when you were seventeen?! 

Teen, vulnerable and fragile.

Gullible, innocent, and docile. 

Would you show the same wisdom you have today?! 

Answer me, Ariana.

You are stepping into your own judgment. 

You are your own judge,

Own witness. 

You are the one who offended, 

Again, you are the one to be defended. 

When both the offender and defender coexists in the same person- in yourself,

What do you do?! 

What do you do when you see yourself in the mirror?!

What does your conscience dictate?! 

What is your consciousness saying to you?!

What subliminal messages are conveyed? 

Tell me, Ariana.

Be loud and proud. 

Because, you are the living truth.

You are living the words you say.

Your words become your reality past actions,

Your actions reflect what you convey.

Your thoughts show what you carry inside-

Heavy burden of realizations. 

You have come a long way! 

But, are you tired?!

Well, who is not! 

Life is a long tiresome journey of shackled chains!

The chains are invincible. 

You are too!

The shackles are tightening, 

So are you! 

Your chest is tightened up with loss and woes.

With agitated agonies, distress and now you live in a zoo.

A zoo of memories and accolades yet to come!

A zoo of potentials and failures!

A chained animal you are! 

Eaten by the circumstances. 

Devoured by the world.

Served to tensions.

And, decorated for the exploitations.

Boom! 

It all explodes.

It all explodes at the end of the day!

Ache in my body

  My lips ache as if they want to be bitten  and smitten in your love and admiration. My hips swirl in ache as if they want to twirl  around you, dance in motion. My heart is in ache as if it doesn't know where   it belongs, to whom, My eyes are in pain, they are numb and sore. They say your eyes are beautiful like droplets of dews, Like diamonds in the sky. But, only a few knows how much tears it shed, Shed like an ocean. I have cried in pain like a destitute losing all her belongings, I have cried in pain like a beggar begging for an alms of love and warmth.
